Snow Day Policy
The Lighthouse Co-op uses the following policy regarding snow days:
If Stanwood-Camano schools are closed because of ice and/or snow on the roads, TLC will be canceled. If schools are running one or more hours late, because of inclement weather, TLC is canceled.

Snow Ice Cream
Stir together:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. heavy cream
Add to:
1 pan clean snow (this should be obvious)
Add more cream if desired. Get out the spoons!
This ice cream recipe works with DRY snow. If the snow is really slushy and wet, the ice cream comes out sandy and gritty.
